Description of your horse:
Gambler is a very talented and competitive, compact 16.3 15 year old WB gelding.
He has an expressive trot, balanced canter and always scores well in the dressage. He has competed at medium level. Whilst his current rider prefers eventing they did manage to win Sydney Dressage Preliminary Horse of the Year for 2016. Her younger sister (who also prefers eventing) won Junior Preliminary Horse 2016 at Warringah Dressage Association.

He also attended RAS for Pony Club events placing his rider in her rider class and competing in the pairs. He has showjumped up to 1.20m and is super brave, whilst still being careful.

He has extensive eventing experience competing successfully to 1* level and qualifying for 2* with his 16 year old rider. Highlights would be winning their first CIC* at Lynton in October 2016 in a big competitive field. Further outstanding performances qualified them to be selected on the Eventing NSW High Performance Squad alongside Olympic riders.

It is rare to find a horse with such talent across all 3 disciplines of eventing. Gambler is a snaffle mouth all phases.

Due to HSC commitments his rider has retired from competition riding and unfortunately her younger sister can’t maintain 2 horses at the level which she wishes to compete in eventing. She did compete him successfully at the 2017 NSW Interschool Championships winning Intermediate Preliminary Dressage Champion and was offered a spot on the team for NSW at the Australian Interschool Championships at Toowoomba.

Recently 2nd at CNC 1* at SIEC with Stuart Tinney riding.
